Collection Schedule
When is my bin being picked up?
City of Prospect residents are provided with 3 bins for waste collection, including:
- A 240-litre bin with a yellow lid for recyclables, collected fortnightly
- A 240-litre bin with a lime green lid for food organics and garden organics (FOGO), collected fortnightly
- A 140-litre bin with a red lid for waste to landfill, collected weekly
- Up to 3 bookable hard waste collections per financial year.
General waste is collected weekly, and recycling and green organics are collected fortnightly (on alternate weeks).
