City of Prospect is located immediately north of the City of Adelaide, a few kilometres from the Adelaide GPO. City of Prospect is bounded by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield in the north and east, the Town of Walkerville in the south-east, the City of Adelaide in the south, and the City of Charles Sturt in the west.

City of Prospect is not a large place, and we are fortunate to have several bus routes servicing our main roads, both laterally and longitudinally. We also have shopping precincts on Prospect Road, Main North Road, and North East Road. We have designated bike lanes on most of the arterial roads, and a bike park for our younger cyclists to play in, and bike sharrows marked up on some of our side streets.

Council is committed to maintaining the distinctive, connected, inclusive and culturally engaged community we have, and our arts and culture programs form a large part of how that is accomplished.
