Computers and Printing

Computer facilities and assistance

City of Prospect recognises that not all residents can freely access computers and associated facilities in their own home. To ensure all members of the Prospect community can enjoy the benefits that computer technology can offer, Prospect Library provides laptops and iPads for free use within the Prospect Library.

Printing, scanning, and photocopying are also available. Charges apply for printing and photocopying.

You need your library barcode and PIN to use a Library laptop or iPad (if you cannot remember your PIN you can reset this with the staff at the desk). If you are not a member, enquire at any public library to sign up (Photo ID is required, along with proof of your current address such as Driver’s Licence, utility bill, bank statement, etc. Digital ID is accepted). You do not need to sign up, however you will need to provide the above ID to use a laptop or iPad as a visitor.

Selected Microsoft Office products are available on the public access laptops.

Users under the age of 18 who wish to access the Internet on the Library’s laptop or iPad must have parental/guardian consent.
