Immunisation


We are officially in flu season

All persons over the age of 65 years, children under 5 years of age and those considered medically at risk are entitled to a FREEvaccine. 

This year, there are two new vaccines available to provide better protection for people aged 65 years and over, Fluad® and Fluzone®.

Local Councils Working Together to Protect the Health of the Community

The Eastern Health Authority provides the immunisation programs on behalf of City of Prospect such as the:

  • National Immunisation Program
  • School Based Immunisation Program
  • Worksite Immunisations

The Authority's staff can respond to your enquiries, and assist with professional advice on a variety of immunisation matters.

*Note: NEW Prospect Immunisation Clinic location for 2018.
 
With construction commencing for the new Community Hub, Library and Innovation Centre at Prospect, regular immunisation services will temporarily be provided at the Eastern Health Authority offices during 2018.
 
Every Thursday (by appointment) - 10am - 4pm
Fortnightly on Tuesdays (by appointment) - 10am - 12pm
